SWAMPSCOTT DORY

       Finished in the fall of 2004 is a 17 foot Swampscott Dory, first designed and
       built by Fred Dion around 1910.  The lines were taken off and presented by John
       Gardner in his book "The Dory Book".  The boat is lapstrake construction
       of solid African mahogany using the West System.  The boat is powered by both
       sail and electric.
